Use Scrip (RaiseRight) to help support Holy Family School
We are inviting you to become a partner with us as we start our new year in the Scrip Program.
Scrip - What is it?
Scrip is a program that enables our school to raise funds at no extra cost to our parents, family and friends. Scrip is a term that means “substitute money”. When you purchase gift cards through Scrip, you are purchasing cards that are used just like cash. For example, if you buy $25 at a particular business, your gift card is worth the entire $25 and the retail business donates a % of the value of the card to our school. The more you buy, the more they donate!
How does it work?
You can help by becoming a partner with us. There are four ways to participate in the Scrip program:
- Buy gift cards in our office from a large inventory on hand - no waiting.
- Place an order on a paper order form - must be turned in with payment on Mondays and your order will be ready on Thursday of the week that orders are placed.
- Place an order online at the Shop with Scrip website, www.ShopwithScrip.com. Click on the word "Register" at the top right of the page; Join a Scrip Program. You will need to call the school for the enrollment code to register. Then send payment to school.
- Place an order online and pay with Presto Pay (ACH). No credit card information is needed and the whole order and payment is done electronically.
To use Presto Pay, follow these directions: after you register, click on Dashboard, then on the left, click on Family Functions, then Presto Pay and follow the on-screen directions.
Any way you order, your cards will be ready on Thursdays of the weeks that orders are placed by our Scrip Committee members. Orders can be picked up at the office or they may be sent home with a child in a large Scrip envelope.
Why would you do this?
You can use Scrip to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, gas and other essentials. Perhaps you need a gift for some special occasion? Scrip works great for that too. With every purchase, you earn revenue for HFS. Since these are purchases that you would already be making, it will be no extra cost to you, but a great financial benefit to our school. We have earned, on average, about $14,000 per year. Imagine if everyone ordered!
In July 2018, we implemented the Scrip Tuition Credit Program. With this exciting program, 50% of the rebates will go to Holy Family School and 50% will go to your family's tuition account. You may also designate 50% of the rebate to be split and applied to two or more family's tuition accounts (for example, a son's family and a neighbor's family). Simply complete the HFS Scrip Tuition Credit enrollment form and return to school ASAP. Thank you for buying Scrip to pay for everyday purchases using gift cards in place of cash, checks and credit cards!
